It's that time of year where the weather is either perfect or cold, leaves start changing colors and falling, and of course, kids start spending more time inside than outside. Amiguitos students LOVE to spend time outside, so when it's not too chilly we go out on a pumpkin hunt, squirrel hunt, and leaf hunt.
At Amiguitos, the leaf hunt is a huge and very entertaining project for us. We love collecting leaves to later on, paste them on paper and draw trees, turkey's, and making simple leaf collages to recognize the leaves and their names. These are some idea for fun projects you can do at home with your little one from any age. Also on the bottom is a link to a website which shows you seasonal activities for kids.
